The kids in my reading 212 class have been rereading
Porpoises in Peril, the text they read in ELA, using close reading strategies
that reinforce their areas for growth.
Today we were analyzing a character in the text by identifying what the
character says and does. The kids did
such a great job of identifying the characters actions and words. But even better was how they took what they
read and used the 7 Habits to describe the character.
